I am a Georgia based photographer living among the trees with my husband and daughter. I have chosen photography as a tool to navigate and narrate the paradox of life; an intersection of joy and pain, most deeply felt during pivotol thresholds. Primarily focusing on natural elements and self portraiture, I invite pause and reflection so that you might recognize the beauty all around you at any given moment, anywhere.
I earned a BFA in theatre performance and am a trained massage and healing arts therapist. I draw on theatre and attend to healing in in my photography practice, as well as in life. My work is inspired by my immediate surroundings. I am one of the many who live with unpredictable waves of illness that in surprising ways, offer me gifts. The dream world sustains me when stillness calls.
