My work is an invitation to slow down.
I seek quiet moments that are often overlooked. I am drawn to beauty that feels honest rather than perfect. I like to create images that evoke wonder, memory, story. Nature is both my subject and my language. Flowers changing seasons are metaphors for our own humanity. Nature has offered me countless acts of grace, I try to convey that and offer hope and respite from daily life, as well as opportunity to connect deeply through human sadness. I believe art has the ability to comfort, inspire, and remind us that beauty still exists in the ordinary, as well as in the darkness.
